There is a common rule in the modern music industry to tune-n-polish everything.
And "true" recording means as few takes as possible.

I wasn't aiming for the "true" record and I'm not bragging but it is what it is: "Whale Tale" album is all about first-take fresh emotion. I've wrote and perform the whole record by myself in a small home studio. All of my thoughts and emotions poured into something honest.

This is about slight or even aggressive sadness.
Once I've said "I don't give a damn about everything - I will go and make everyone go nuts!"
As soon as I've began to write that ideas into music, it turned out completely opposite: deep, personal, intimate... Something that you want to show only for a few ones.

It turned out to be what usually can be heard in private session, together with the best friends or beloved.
Try to listen, I’m sure you have someone to share your personality with.
